A Fresh Start In an attempt to get back to basics, the Central Mississippi Volkswagen Club is working on getting the club organized. All topics that are stated in this newsletter were discussed at our February meeting. First, why are you getting this newsletter in the mail? We have found that we are having trouble communicating with our members. In an effort to solve this problem, we have decided that an annual newsletter and quarterly postcards would keep all members in the loop. Many thought it best to have one location at the same time evey month. We chose Joe's Diner in Brandon on the second Saturday every month at 5:00 PM. This meeting should take place regardless of an event that club members may participate in that day. |

Our show is getting downgraded to a cruise in. we are going to publicize the event and ask for people to come, enjoy the company of other car enthusiast, and maybe go for a drive. Enclosed in this newsletter is a registration form for you to sign up for the next year. Please let us know all of you contact information so that we can confirm that what we have is correct. With that, your annual dues are due. Please, either bring both the registration form and you dues to the March meeting or send it in by mail. Does anyone want to be our president? We would like nominations to be brought to the March meeting. If you can't make it, include it with your registration form and dues. All in all, we want to get back to having fun! So let's get the business out of the way and get out there to show off our cars!!!

Cruise In Through History Or is it Cruisin' Through History, or maybe Cruise Around History? Either way our beloved car show that was a success last year is going to be a cruise in this year. We set the bar high last year and we found that it is going to be hard for us to top it. This year we want simply a good time for all. We are going to have music, pavement, people, and cars! |
We are asking for car enthusiasts of all kinds to come out to the Vicksburg Outlet Mall, on April 19. We will have dash plaques for everyone who attends so that you can remember the friends you enjoyed time with and new friends that you made. Oh yea, you will probably enjoy drooling over someone else's car too! |
